COVISION Co-Design Workshop
COVISION Co-Design Workshops were set up in Mexico, Taiwan, Australia, USA and Ireland. The Co-Design teams were children and young people who worked together to design creative responses to support children, families and communities affected by pandemics and other crises.
-
The COVISION Taiwan team was made up of 8 boys and 8 girls, aged 10-16. They did all their work on-line
-
The COVISION Australia workshop involved 49 young people aged 14-16 from Footscray High School in inner-west Melbourne.
-
The COVISION Ireland team was made up of 7 girls and 8 boys, aged 10-17. They worked both on-line and face-to-face.
-
The COVISION USA team was made up of students at The Community School, an alternative high school in Baltimore, Maryland.
-
The COVISION Mexico team, from Campeche, consisted of 9 girls and 7 boys. They met at the University Museum of Life, Campeche.
Each team was able to pitch their proposals directly to senior adult decision-makers in their own country (those who have the power to make things happen), and get a commitment to action in response.
